Registration card

Registration card is considered as a residence card. Its duration and validity vary between 1 and 10 years, renewable according to the evidence provided by the foreigner in question to the concerned administration. The foreigner has to notify Moroccan authorities about the change of place of residence, in compliance with the legislation in force.

Note that:

-  The applicant is provided with a deposit receipt till the registration card is delivered;

-The validity of the registration card varies between one and 4 years. For each year, 60 DHS is paid;

- After a residence period exceeding 4 years in Morocco, an application to obtain a 10 year card is possible, a stamp of 600 DHS is paid in this case;

-  Upon the submission of the registration card, the provisions of the conventions signed between Morocco and foreign countries are taken into account;

- The registration card is submitted by force of law to foreigners whose age range between 16 and 18 years old expressing their will to practice paid professional activities in Morocco, if one of the parents possess a similar card;

-  The necessity to take into account the regulatory provisions of law No 02-03 on the entry and residence of foreigners to the Kingdom of Morocco and on illegal immigration.

  •  Copy of passport;
  •  Two forms to be filled at the National Security Services or Royal Mounted Police (gendarmerie);
  •  Six passport photographs 2,5x2,5 ;
  •  Document stating subsistence  means ;
  •  Copy of ownership contract, or tenancy contract, or electricity, water, or telephone receipts, or the owner commitment stating the place of residence;
  •  Evidence of subsistence means either in the case of “vistor”, “student”, or “professional activity
